Bearbotics FLL 2012 Senior Solutions Research Proposal
We are part of the Bearbotics team. We want to ask for your help with this year #39;s FIRST Lego League tournament research project - Senior Solutions. In this video, We explained what we have been doing and the problem statement for the project. Our solution is to enhance an existing solution so that the seniors can easily use the bar anywhere they want and can be use as a walking cane. The new device has a spring mechanism for extraction and nanotechnology sticky pad on both ends for securing the bar when the person needs to grab it. Some of their questions are: 1) Is it worth adding the movable retractable features? 2) Cost - They understand nanotechnology is expensive? 3) Homeyness - will this make this not attractive in aa home environment? 4) Is it easy to use? 5) Will seniors have enough strength to pull themselves up? 6) How to make it easy for seniors to remember how to operate the device? 7) How to make the material light? 8) Is this something practical now or future?From:bearbotics2012Views:16 1ratingsTime:02:00More inScience Technology
