12-12-2011 11:02 Camiel Duytschaver Camiel is concerned about fossil fuel dependency. Camiel first became interested in biofuel while working with energy concepts. Now, she and her partner, Lou Posada, plan to propose a program that would allow schools to use their own resources for energy. Outside the science lab, Camiel also enjoys working in the photography lab, where she blends a passion for both science and art. Lou Posada Lou has had an interest in science for as long as he can remember. Lou is particularly interested in working with nano-medicine, a new form of medicine using nanoparticles. Today, Lou will be talking about biodiesel; more specifically, Lou and his classmate will be discussing a program for promoting the use of biofuel in schools, local communities, nationally, and perhaps worldwide as well. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
