Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship

Unexpected fellowship position available in Psychosomatic Medicine at the prestigious North Shore University Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center of the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. This established ACGME accredited one year fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine begins on July 1, 2014 for individuals who have completed Psychiatry residency training.

Fellows train in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including Pain, Palliative Care, HIV-AIDS Clinic, and Outpatient Ambulatory Care in addition to training on an active consultation service at both the North Shore University Hospital as well as the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dedicated Attendings board certified in Psychosomatic Medicine provide close supervision and teaching. Didactics include case conference, journal club, and a lecture series.
