Have had it about 2 months now so I really can #39;t offer an opinion on Netgear #39;s reliablility but the existing reviews were far better than the competition.I have mine located in a downstairs office where ambient temp is always in the low 70s. I can barely hear the fan when I am sitting next to it on one of the work stations. In any other similar location, I would not consider fan noise to be an issue.UPDATE 01 Oct 2010:Have had it over a year now and have had NO issues, still works after power outages, spikes, surges, you name it. Boots right up and stays up...until the power goes out again (sigh).UPDATE 28 May 2011:Flawless. I #39;m not holding my breath any more. Giving every impression it #39;ll outlast me.UPDATE 04 Dec 2011:Still going strong....no glitches...power outages don #39;t phase it.UPDATE 03 Sept 2012STIll going strong.
