This 3-day program is designed to provide practitioners insight into the assessment and management of symptoms commonly associated with hormone imbalances in men and women. Discussions will include treatment options for various issues associated with hormone imbalance, including physiology, hormone restoration, pharmacologic approaches, nutritional influences and lifestyle factors affecting outcomes.

Tana started as a neurosurgical ICU nurse at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Currently, she teaches practical lifestyle application programs at The Amen Clinics, using food to heal the mind and body. Tana is an author, and appears on PBS with her teaching philosophies.

Dr. Gillson is the President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Analytical, a Calgary testing laboratory offering testing of steroid hormones in saliva. He holds a PhD in Chemistry (Analytical Atomic Spectroscopy) and worked in Research and Development for Perkin-Elmer/SCIEX before switching to a career in Medicine. He obtained an MD from the University of Calgary in 1991, and spent 6 years as a Family Practitioner. Prior to starting Rocky Mountain Analytical, he worked for two years with Jonathan Wright MD at the Tahoma Clinic in Kent, WA, and maintained special interests in areas including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) as well as the integrated medicine approach to Multiple Sclerosis. He has published several articles on histamine and conducted a placebo-controlled pilot trial of transdermal histamine for symptom relief in MS. Currently he lectures for Professional Compounding Centres of America, educating pharmacists and physicians about BHRT and laboratory testing of hormones.

Jack Monaco, M.D., received his MD from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina. He completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and practiced this specialty until 2007. He is Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Anti-Aging, Functional & Regenerative Medicine. At The Monaco Center for Health & Healing, he and his trained staff help his patients achieve health & wellness. He is an Oral Board Examiner for A4M and lectures throughout the United States.

Pamela Wartian Smith, M.D., MPH spent her first twenty years of practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center and then the next sixteen years as an Anti-Aging/Metabolic Medicine specialist. She is a diplomat of the Board of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an internationally known speaker and author on the subject of Metabolic, Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine. She also holds a Masters in Public Health Degree along with a Masters Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. She has been featured on CNN, PBS, and many other television networks, has been interviewed in numerous consumer magazines, and has hosted two of her own radio shows. She is currently the Director of the Center for Healthy Living and Longevity and the founder and Director of The Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith is also the co-director of the Masters Program in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. She is the author of the best-selling books, HRT: The Answers, Vitamins Hype or Hope, Demystifying Weight Loss, What You Must Know About Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs & More, What You Must Know about Womens Hormones and Why You Cant Lose Weight. Her newest book, What You Must Know About Memory Loss and How You Can Stop It was recently released.

As Owner of CD Whyte Ridge Pharmacy and CinDen Pharmacies (Pembina & Lorimer), Dennis brings a broad range of experience. Through the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), he has received specialty training in Customized Compounding, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy , Pain Management, Nutrition, Dermatology, and Functional Endocrinology. He is also trained in Palliative Care through the Victoria Hospice Society. Dennis is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, a Diplomat with the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners, and has completed the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. He is currently enrolled in the Advanced Functional Medicine Certification Program with the Institute for Functional Medicine and a Masters Program in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine with University of South Florida, school of medicine. Dennis has done extensive public and professional presentations in Canada and internationally in wide range of health and wellness topics including Adrenal Fatigue, Brain Function, BHRT, Chronic fatigue, Pain Management, Weight Management and among others. Dennis was awarded Bonnie Schultzs Memorial Award for Practice Excellence in Patient Care by College of Pharmacists of Manitoba for 2004, and awarded Wyeth Apothecary Award in 2009 for Manitoba for his innovative practice. He was also a recipient for PCCA Canadian Compounding Pharmacist of the Year for 2011.

As owner of the Medical Arts Pharmacy in Saskatoon, she regularly lectures on herbals, nutritional support complementary medicine and creating optimal health through compounding. Brenda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan; she is a graduate of the Advanced Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine (FAARFM) from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Brenda was awarded the 2010 Pharmacist of the Year Award in Canada as well as being named Pharmacist of the Year in 2012 from Professional Compounding Centers of Americas Canadian Division and has been published in a wide variety of papers and magazines. She is currently serving on the board for the Medical Arts Building, Saskatoon Autism Services and is also a member of a collaborative working group of pharmacists and physicians who are look to enhance interdisciplinary relationships and pharmacist prescription privileges; is a member of PCCA Canadas Advisory Council and PCCA Concierge Compounding.
