The Burning Man - a poem for Tibet and Human Rights
A poem written for 100000 Poets for Change 2012 by Terry Dobson, promoting change, human rights and peace See the burning man He sets himself alight Hoping to ignite The flame of truth and freedom for Tibet See the burning man He burns to protest Tyranny and oppression Of an abusive occupation in Tibet See the burning man If he is willing to give his life To promote change and human rights What are you willing to do? Will you stand up to the politicians? Will you say to the world We #39;ve had enough End the wars, end the abuse We want peace and love Are you willing to tell the governments People are not slaves Treat each person with respect Give them back their dignity No matter what their race, ability, disability Can you raise your voice and tell them No to forcing people to leave their homes No to state-sponsored murder No to genocide and torture See the burning man As he burns he reaches out And hopes to light the flame within you Will you carry his message of truth and freedom? From:Terry DobsonViews:0 0ratingsTime:01:18More inNonprofits Activism
