A project of the faith-based organization Operation Mobilization, the Freedom Climb gives women around the world the opportunity to be an advocate and voice for women and children who are trafficked, enslaved, oppressed and exploited, according to the organization.

According to the organization, last year 48 women hailing from seven different countries met in Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
