The Library Bingo prizes have gone out and were well received by all. We will be doing Library Bingo again in the month of October, so watch for details.

The Adult Book Discussion group will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. in the West Room. The book the group is reading is "Strange But True" by John Searles, a fiction selection that involves a family that must confront secrets buried and lies told. If you are interested, pick up a copy at the circulation desk.

The Heart of America Library was one of the two places in our community that hosted a representative from the U.S. Census Bureau for an hour last week. The census workers are beginning to knock on doors that have not responded to the census. If you have not completed a census report, save them a stop and get yours done today! Each person missed means about $19,000 lost to our community over the next ten years. Those dollars add up fast, so do your part and be counted.

New adult fiction large print titles this week are "The Refuge" by Ann H. Gabhart,"A Walk Along the Beach" by Debbie Macomber, and "Lost and Found Bookshop" by Susan Wiggs.

Other adult titles are "The Apostle" by Brad Thor, "Home Before Dark" by Riley Sager, and "The Perfume Collector" by Kathleen Tessaro.

Junior selections added this week include "Cyborg Circuit Overload" by J. E. Bright, "Beast Boy Bro-Down" and "Growing Painz" by Steven Korte, "The Dragon's Eye" by Sarwat Chadda, and "Stormspeaker" by Christina Diaz Gonzalez.

New magazines this week are People, Time, Better Homes & Gardens, Horse Illustrated, National Geographic, Real Simple and Web MD.
