When UFC womens bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made some waves last week for calling Cris Cyborg Santos an it, people were waiting to see whether or not the promotion would hand down some punishment to one of their top stars.

The UFC did not discipline Rousey for her comments, which came as no surprise to Cyborg who had some comments of her own about Rouseys success.

Im not surprised (she wasnt punished) because shes UFCs paper champion, Cyborg said, via MMAFighting.com. They obviously would never punish her, even because her opponents are handpicked.

I always admired Dana White as a great businessman that always believed in MMA and helped our sport to grow around the world. And Im sure that, with the power he has, he would never go against his paper champion.

Cyborg has been hoping for a fight with Rousey and plans to begin dropping down to 135-pounds in hopes of finding herself in the UFC and challenging for the belt, but first she will have to prove that she can succesfully make weight and get a win under her belt before making a challenge.

If the Rousey vs. Cyborg fight ever happens, it could be one of the biggest fights for the history of the womens bantamweight division and the trash talk leading up to the event would be spectacular.
