Stew-Stras picked up an easy win on Monday night, cruising past the Cougars of South Central, 47-36.

Brandon Helmuth scored half of the Comets points with a 23-point performance, scoring nine times from the floor, making one triple and 4-of-6 at the line. South Central had one man in double figures, Harmeier, with just 11 points.

The Comets took a modest lead in the 1st, 12-8, then Stew-Stras struck in the 2nd with an 18-7 run. Stew-Stras was up by 15 at the break, 30-15. The Ceomst forgot to come out ofthe locker room in the 3rd and let South Central cut into the lead with a 13-8 run.

The Comets were up by just ten points at the start of the 4th, 38-28. Still, they shrugged their shoulders and coasted and were happy with an 11-point check in the win column.
