Trucker Tools’ Load Track now integrated with MercuryGate TMS – Commercial Carrier Journal

Trucker Tools integration with MercuryGate TMS allows users to send locations of pickups and deliveries to Trucker Tools Load Track application for advanced geofencing capabilities.

Trucker Tools, provider of the popular smartphone app used byowner operators and small carrier drivers with a built-in Load Track connectivity platform, announced an integration with MercuryGates Transportation Management Software (TMS), a cloud-based solution.

The company says the integration brings end-to-end automation to the shipment lifecycle for the carriers, freight brokers, freight forwarders, third party logistics providers (3PLs) and shippers using MercuryGate TMS.

In addition to reporting GPS locations while shipments are in transit, the fully integrated Load Track solution adds instant driver messaging, arrival and departure notifications and near real-time ETA status to the native user interface and workflows of MercuryGate TMS.

The automation of check calls with drivers improves productivity and the accurate, timely shipment status information helps companies further increase customer service and satisfaction, said Prasad Gollapalli, chief executive officer of Trucker Tools.

More than 400,000 drivers, owner operators and small carriers have already downloaded the Trucker Tools app with the Load Track feature.

When load assignments are made in MercuryGate TMS, the automated shipment tracking process begins up to 24 hours in advance of the pickup appointment to ensure drivers are committed and on schedule. As part of the process, the assigned drivers are provided a text link on their phones to download the Trucker Tools app if they havent downloaded it previously.

Additionally, the MercuryGate TMS automatically sends locations of pickups and deliveries to Load Track to utilize its advanced geo-fencing capabilities that provide real-time arrival and departure notifications and shipment status updates.

Load Track continuously updates shipment locations in MercuryGate TMS every five minutes when installed on Android devices and up to 15 minutes with Apple devices through the final delivery.

Trucker Tools gives the most accurate and time-sensitive tracking that I have seen in the marketplace, and its customer support gives 100 percent to resolve any problems and grow the product, said John Back, senior logistics manager of Amstan Logistics, a Load Track and MercuryGate TMS user based in Hamilton, Ohio.

During planned stop events, customizable forms in Load Track can prompt drivers to enter BOL#, Weight, Lumper, Reefer Temp and other shipment details. Additionally, drivers can use Load Track to scan proof-of-delivery documents to capture images for fast billing and payment. The images are automatically sent by email and immediately available for download from Load Tracks website.

We are pleased to support Trucker Tool and its Load Track application. With the product integration of MercuryGate TMS, users will benefit from enhanced visibility, connectivity and functionality, said Monica B. Wooden, chief executive officer and co-founder of MercuryGate International.

The Load Track product in theMercuryGate TMS can be activated with a simple request to MercuryGate or Trucker Tools. Pricing starts as low as $1.05 per load with high volumes and with no limitations on the number of days or stop events for a load from pickup through final delivery.

TMS reporter rides along with MUPD on blackout Thursday – Miami Student

11:30 p.m., Havighurst Hall

Two girls were huddled beside an MUPD officer across from a room in Havighurst. The girls, clutching water bottles and dressed to go out, tried to peer inside the room and ask the officer questions that he couldnt answer about their friend the one inside waiting for an ambulance.

She was curled up in bed, engulfed in blankets with her head in another friends lap. The friend rubbed her back and held a trash can below her mouth. Soft, yellow string lights illuminated the five other girls and two MUPD officers crowding the room, and a Dont worry bee happy sign hung over them.

I just joined a sorority, the girl wailed. I dont wanna get in trouble.

Honey, said a girl leaning on her desk, dressed in a crisp pink sweater and jeans. Youre not gonna get in any trouble.

Everyone watched anxiously as the girl waiting for the ambulance continued to throw up and, when she could, moan about how mad her mom was going to be.

When the ambulance arrived, the officers asked if she thought she could walk downstairs. She couldnt. Her friends helped her out of bed and the officers each supported her with one arm.

Is she gonna be coming back tonight? her roommate asked.

The officers didnt think so.

The girl apologized for the inconvenience, but everyone told her not to worry.

Youre not the first one tonight, an officer said. And you wont be the last one, thats for sure.

11:58 p.m., North Quad

They came from Brick Street. Their drinks came from boys.

Theyd really thought their friend was okay, until they reached North Quad thats when shed begun struggling to walk on her own. Then she couldnt hold her own head up.

The officers advised the girls to help their friend into the backseat of the nearest cop car. They managed to get her seated, legs stretched out onto the icy pavement. She slumped against the seat, and both he and a friend had to support her neck as he gave her a Breathalyzer test.

Whoo, he said at the results. He alluded that she was close to the magic number, .2, the level at which people can lose the ability to walk and communicate before losing consciousness altogether.

One officer called for an ambulance.

The rest asked her gaggle of friends, whose only defense against the 10-degree weather was crop tops and cropped jeans, how they could stand the cold.

Worry, her roommate said, cracking a humorless smile. Warms you up.

Their RA came bounding outside, a big black parka swallowing her tiny frame. Half of her blonde hair had come loose from its ponytail on the journey from Brandon Hall. She wrapped her arms around the roommate and another girl and asked if she could ride in the ambulance.

The officers said yes. They waited.

1:03 a.m., Armstrong Student Center

These girls hadnt called the MUPD, and they werent planning on it. But they were lucky MUPD drove by and saw them outside Armstrong, they were told, because their friend was critically intoxicated.

The friend sat on the frozen curb, head sagging down between her knees.

The officer pulled over and asked if she was okay.

Were fine, officer, one of the seven people clustered around her said, waving him off. Were totally fine. Thank you.

How much did you have to drink tonight? the officer asked.

19? Probably 19, the girl slurred.

She did not have 19 drinks, one of her friends said. Shes fine.

She wasnt. When the officer stepped out of the car to help her stand up, she vomited clear, plentiful and as the officer pointed out, almost entirely alcohol.

He called for an ambulance.

He asked the remaining three other girls where shed been and how much theyd really had to drink, but they didnt know. One had seen her struggling at New Bar and recognized her from her pledge class; sisterly obligation spurred her to help the girl home. Theyd met the other two on Slant Walk.

All three girls helped her into the warmth of the cop cars backseat while they waited.

Will you call my roommate? Will you text her? she asked. My mom is gonna be so mad.

Dazed, she paused and squinted out at the street. The cars pulsating red-and-blue lights illuminated the sheen of sweat coating her face.

I dont know where I am, she said, panicked.

The officer told her she was waiting for an ambulance and would be okay.

Theres about to be so many people in the hospital, her sorority sister said.

1:24 a.m., McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital

Its too early for this, said an MUPD officer outside McCullough-Hyde. Theyve got beds stacked up.

He mentioned the possibility of diverting incoming patients to nearby hospitals.

The girl we found outside Armstrong had already arrived. Two girls whod helped her waited in the lobby, laughing at something on one of their phones. Theyd met on the walk home.

At 1:29 a.m., the MUPD was on its way to Dennison Hall. An RA had called about an intoxicated resident.

Other Voices: Trying to manage the Amazon effect? Don’t ignore your TMS. – Modern Materials Handling

By MMH Staff February 8, 2017

Editors Note: The following column by J.P. Wiggins, vice president of logistics, 3Gtms, is part of Moderns Other Voices column. The series features ideas, opinions and insights from end-users, analysts, systems integrators and OEMs. Click here to learn about submitting a column for consideration.

Lots of supply chains are dealing with the Amazon effect, which has led consumers to demand lightning-fast (and free) delivery times, last-minute order changes, and 100 percent order accuracy. While initially seen as just a retail problem, these expectations have been extended to the B2B world as well.

Managing the Amazon effect requires a host of solutions, but a transportation management system (TMS) is often overlooked. A TMS is critical for the execution of an order, and this is especially true as order cycles shorten and shipment sizes shrink. Any transportation manager would agree that if these customer behaviors arent properly managed, theyre going to drive up costs.

If youre concerned about the demands and expectations around your orders and deliveries, part of the answer may literally be at your fingertips. But please note that not all TMS systems will be able to handle the scenarios and options I describe below. Only a Tier 1, multi-modal TMS that was designed in the last several years will have the architecture and flexibility to respond in such a dynamic environment.

Real-time planning A TMS can bridge the gap between the order management system (OMS) and warehouse management system (WMS). By optimizing within the constraints of customer service, it can help consolidate customer orders and find the best mode and carriers to keep costs as low as possible while giving route planners the opportunity to dynamically optimize right up until the freight leaves the warehouse. This includes choosing the best cost/service option for all transportation modes, from parcel to LTL, along with multi-stop TL, pool distribution, FTL and intermodal while using real rates and services times for all modes.Allowing planners to hold onto freight as long as possible, but still keep releasing freight for shipping as needed, is especially important if trying to consolidate same-consignee freight as well as building multi-stop TLs.

A TMS can also shift from being a planning engine to an execution and visibility tool that monitors freight in transit: it knows which orders are on which shipments, along with service times for all modes. It can use logic and workflow to proactively monitor freight and automatically get status and location information from carriers as well as alert and respond automatically. In fact, I know of some shippers that ping their TMS to get the best mode selection and ship date requirements pre-WMS.

Leveraging pool distribution More and more shippers are seeing order sizes shrink, which makes routing all the more critical. In advanced scenarios, a TMS allows planners to optimize multi-stop TL freight and build pool distribution (this where a tight integration with both the OMS and WMS is important).

Pool distribution is a long-standing mode of transit that is seeing growth again. Like zone skipping for LTL freight, pool distribution provides a faster and cheaper method of delivery with more visibility and control. Its faster than straight LTL, as you use TL to get the freight to the local terminal and avoid LTL carrier terminal transfers.

With the right TMS, you can handle multi-leg moves and the associated cost/invoice allocation, which allows you to choose the best pool point and determine which shipments should be picked up or delivered. Routes are kept simple so you can break apart very complex orders and route them each separately. This is what gives you the all-important tactical savings; it lets you get creative about how you distribute freight and show your customers their savings. Optimizing your distribution network Thanks to e-commerce, many companies are finding that they need to be more than just a fulfilment company. That could mean light assembly, restocking or some other type of specialty tracking service thats required for better customer fulfillment as you create your own differentiators. For niche distributors that operate regionally, a TMS is invaluable. It can find the best partner distributors to act as the delivery agents, along with helping to acquire the freight and pay distributors.

When it comes to the Amazon effect of faster shipment demands, smaller orders, or other customer expectations, dont ignore your TMS. A modern TMS with the right design can operate dynamically and in real-time to help you maximize routes, deliveries, and your customers experience.

TMS wrestlers gear up for conference – Thermopolis Independent Record Homepage

Mark Dykes

Jarek Sorenson works to roll his opponent over during the Thermopolis Middle School quad.

by Mark Dykes

Last week saw 10 middle school wrestlers hitting the mats during the Thermopolis Quad Tuesday, January 31.

The boys wrestled against Lander and Riverton, and came away from the home competition with 13 wins and seven losses.

Sean Johansen lost by a 2:04 fall to Tallen Anderson of Lander, but won by a 1:31 fall over Hunter Peterson of Riverton.

Carson Williams won by a 59-second fall over Gabe Harris of Lander, but lost by a 2:21 fall to Angel Monroe of Riverton.

Wyatt McDermott won by 10-5 decision against Blaize Laird of Lander, and by a 3-1 decision against Elisha Hernandez of Riverton.

Landon Sosa won by 13-9 decision against Gage Bailey of Lander, but lost by 9-4 decision to Kaden Toman of Riverton.

Roedy Farrell won by a 50-second fall over Ryan Edinger of Lander, and by 14-2 decision against Dalton Leach of Riverton.

Matt Music won by a 36-second fall over Mark Mock of Lander, but lost by 6-2 decision against Dalen Draper of Riverton.

Jarek Sorenson won by a 57-second fall over Sean Williamson of Lander, but lost by a 59-second fall to Brandon Kautz of Riverton.

Austin Barral lost by a 2:12 fall to Jaden Rivera of Lander, and won by a 4-0 decision against Kris Topan of Riverton.

Logan Cole won by a 50-second fall over Mason Hutson of Lander, and by a 45-second fall over Blake Walters of Riverton.

Charlie Sandberg lost by a 1:24 fall to Talon Anderson of Lander, and won by a 1:28 fall over Kaden Hinkle of Riverton.

Coach Toby Emery said the matchups were good during the quad. The only downfall, he noted, was they only wrestled 10 kids compared to other schools who had over double that. This meant the Bobcats had to show how they can stay ready and prepared, as sitting for an hour before hitting the mat wouldn't do them any favors.

All of the boys wrestled well, Emery said, and they've had the weekend off so he hopes they come into this week fresh and ready to practice for the conference at Powell this Saturday.

Emery added Barral has really come along this season and is wrestling with better technique, and Johansen is really stepping up and has more confidence. Overall, he said, the team has been evolving bit by bit each week, and the conference will be a true test for them. He hopes to see the boys step up and beat kids to whom they have lost in the past.

The conference at Powell is scheduled to begin Saturday at 10 a.m.

A Sneak Peak into the Future of the TMS Market – Logistics Viewpoints (blog)

Over the last 4 years, I have released an annual analysis of the global transportation management systems (TMS) market. The research combines the analysis of large amounts of information with interviews with executives from numerous TMS software companies. The end result is the publication of ARCs TMS Global Market Research Study, which analyzes the market shares across numerous categories of the leading TMS suppliers. I am in the process of kicking off that research once again, with a final report ready to go live in the late March / early April timeframe.

One of the key pieces of information that I look at, aside from the market shares of TMS suppliers and the industries that are driving the market, is the growth factors for the market as a whole. These growth drivers have certainly been written about here on Logistics Viewpoints before, However, one thing that I have not blogged about, but do keep a close eye on, is the factors that could inhibit the growth of the TMS market. So today, I wanted to quickly highlight a few growth inhibitors that could have a long term impact on the TMS market.

The Global Economy

The US economy has made steady gains, and the dollar has gotten stronger. However, the global economy and slowing global trade could slow the growth of TMS. With the United Kingdoms exit from the EU, many are left to wonder how this will affect trade, and whether other countries will follow the UKs lead. In the US, President Trump has pulled the country out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact, and stirred up a lot of emotions and fears about the future state of global trade. All of these factors could slow global trade and the TMS market in turn.

LSPs Technological Sophistication is Increasing

Many suppliers sell robust TMS solutions they have developed. However, their sales of transportation managed services far exceed their standalone TMS deals. Historically, one of the leading complaints about logistics service providers (LSPs) was that their technology was not good enough. As LSPs overcome that barrier, potential TMS customers may increasingly choose the managed services path.

There is also an argument that a shipper needs to get to a certain level of sophistication before they can effectively make use of a TMS. Beginning with managed services can be a good starting point for these companies. The companies can then defer the TMS decision until their internal skills improve and may end up never going down the TMS path.

The Rise of Transportation Execution Solutions

Transportation execution (TE) systems and marketplaces allow shippers to connect to multiple carriers and then tender, track, and pay using the software or marketplace. These solutions do not feature optimization, but can certainly allow smaller organizations to connect to the carriers they use. These solutions are generally less expensive than a traditional TMS, but for smaller companies, they provide all the functionality that is needed.

Free TMS Solutions

Some brokerage companies offer a free TMS. The route guide is populated with carriers the broker has a relationship with, and the broker makes their money based on the spread between what shippers pay for the shipment and what the broker pays the carrier. Currently, the free TMS solutions optimization capabilities are limited. Further, the objectivity of such solutions can be questioned. But for many shippers, especially small shippers, free is hard to beat.

Conclusion

As I get ready to kick off another TMS market study, I will certainly keep a keen eye on the factors outlined above. Each of these plays a unique role in determining just how big the TMS market can get. The changing nature of global trade, and potential regulatory changes, will have the biggest impact when it comes to cross-border trade and commerce. But the alternative solutions for a traditional TMS, including the use of LSPs, transportation execution systems, and the rise of the free TMS, will certainly play a big role as well. Once my research and analysis is done, I should have some more answers.

New Jersey Supreme Court Asks Judiciary to Translate More, Implement TMS – Slator (press release) (subscription)

Just when WhiteHouse.gov shed its Spanish version a temporary issue said Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer, although the Spanish option has yet to be restored as of press time two weeks later the New Jersey Supreme Court directed the statewide rollout of a new, consolidated Language Access Plan across its judicial system, according to a court press release dated February 2, 2017.

US Language Access initiatives target persons of limited English proficiency (LEP) to give them access to government services, in this case, the state courts. New Jersey State has a population of over one million LEP persons, nearly 600,000 of them Spanish speakers, based on the latest census. In 2015, interpreters were used in 82,927 New Jersey court events in 83 languages, including American Sign Language.

The New Jersey Judiciary Language Access Plan is said to be grounded in the basic tenet that, among others all costs for interpreting are to be borne by the Judiciary, except in very limited instances. The new, consolidated version updates and replaces all previous state language access plans and directives and incorporates all other existing policies into a single, 75-page document. It also defines a set of 11 goals to guide the states efforts.

According to the State Supreme Court-issued directive, the rollout of a new statewide system for managing interpreting services was completed in June 2015, and data collection and analysis efforts (i.e., case type, interpreter name, call log, etc.) have begun. The next step is to assess compliance with the Language Access Plan.

Said to be immediately effective, implementation of the Language Access Plan is expected to be complete in state-level courts by June 2017, and in the municipal courts by December 2017. Assessment of compliance will begin in 2018.

The New Jersey Judiciary has led other states in its approach to language access; for example, in setting up clear credentialing requirements for court interpreters. Other initiatives include translating documents for LEP court users, training for judges and staff, and information drives to tell the public that language services are available throughout the judicial system free of charge.

Among the material published by the court system in New Jersey are documents for self-represented litigants in non-English languages. Given that 85% of the demand is for Spanish, the courts now have available hundreds of translated forms, brochures, information packets, etc. in Spanish, but will seek to translate more, according to the new, consolidated Language Access Plan.

The New Jersey Judiciary website is available in English and Spanish. Additionally, the courts employ a number of bilingual staff who can directly serve court users in Spanish. Under the new directive, however, the state will also translate more materials into our other high demand languages, which include Haitian, Korean, Polish and Portuguese, and implement translation project management software (read: translation management system or TMS) and expand staffing.

TMS Resources – VA Learning University

Skillsoft course catalogs and other information can now be accessed on the 24x7 Learning Tab of this website.

Important Information from Skillsoft:

Dear Valued Skillsoft Customer,

We wanted to make you aware of new behavior users may be experiencing since the latest Oracle Java JRE updates. After upgrading to JRE versions 1.7.0_55 or 1.8.0_05, users may be seeing the following additional warning message when launching some Java applets:

This message is due to a change that Oracle made to the Java security model. The user must click Allow, or the applet will be unable to communicate. Additionally, the user may click the Do not show this again for this app and web site checkbox in order to suppress the message on future applet launches.

The caller-allowable-codebase attribute was introduced in an earlier version of JRE 1.7.0 and it allows an applet to specify what domains are allowed to communicate with it. Because our applets may be installed in either Skillsoft-hosted environments or customer/partner-hosted environments, we are unable to specify an explicit list of domains that are allowed to launch our applets. Therefore, we specify the wildcard (*) so that the Player is allowed to communicate with any domain it is launched from. Until JRE 1.7.0_51, this worked fine. However, as of JRE 1.7.0_55 and JRE 1.8.0_05, Java will now prompt the user if an applet attempts to allow wildcard (*) as the value for the caller-allowable-codebase attribute.

Despite our best efforts to test with a pre-release version JRE 1.7.0_60, this new behavior was not discovered until the production versions of the JRE was released. This behavior was also not present in the initial release of JRE 1.8, but was introduced with the latest 1.8.0_05 release.

Skillsoft is investigating ways that we might suppress this additional prompt, but in the meantime, users will be required to click Allow in order for the applet to launch successfully.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may be causing to your users or your organization.

Regards,

Skillsoft Support

Update to Skillsoft Courses (May 2013)

In May 2013, an update to all web-based Skillsoft courses in the TMS was deployed. A short post-course evaluation will now be required for each Skillsoft course in order to receive your certificate of completion. These evaluations will gather user feedback to shape future training.

If you did not complete the evaluation immediately following completion of the content, it will be available through your TMS To-Do list to complete later. You can find these evaluations either by changing your To-Do List view to Show: Surveys or by looking for the evaluation by title. Once you complete the short survey, the TMS will be updated with your certificate of completion.

You will need to restart any Skillsoft course that was not completed before May 20.

TM – Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokmon encyclopedia

From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokmon encyclopedia.

If you were looking for either of the Pokmon Trading Card Game expansions sometimes abbreviated as TM, see EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua (TCG) or Triumphant (TCG).

A Technical Machine, or TM for short (Japanese: Move Machine), is an item that, like an HM, is used to teach a Pokmon a move. A TM is a machine used by Pokmon Trainers to teach a Pokmon a new move that it might not learn otherwise. Prior to Generation V, TMs were single-use items, unlike Hidden Machines, which can be used over and over again on many different Pokmon. TMs can be found on the ground or bought at department stores. Some are also given away by Gym Leaders as prizes for defeating them in addition to a Badge. Silph Co. has distributed a pamphlet containing information on TMs and HMs, indicating they are, at least partially, developed or produced by the company.

Prior to Generation VI, TM moves will also be passed down through breeding if the baby Pokmon can learn that TM (such as passing Flamethrower from a father Typhlosion to a baby Torchic). Prior to Generation V, there were also several Pokmon that could not learn certain TM moves directly from a TM but could learn them via breeding, such as Vulpix with Energy Ball.

The depiction of TMs has changed over time. In the TCG, they are shown as small boxes that the Pok Ball would be inserted into, but from FireRed and LeafGreen onwards, they have been depicted as compact discs that are inserted into the TM Case and the case itself teaches the Pokmon the move. In Pokmon Origins, TMs and HMs resemble floppy disks, but how they work is never shown.

For the in-game locations of TMs, see List of TM and HM locations.

Generation I featured 50 TMs, with an additional five HMs. Move Tutors in FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald teach several of the moves that were removed from the TM list between Generation I and Generation III.

Generation II introduced several new TMs, a majority of which were new moves introduced in this generation. There remained 50 TMs, as some Generation I TMs were removed. Several moves that were contained in TMs in Generation II but were no longer contained within TMs during Generation III can be taught by a Move Tutor in Pokmon Emerald.

In Generation III, more moves were introduced, and the TM list was again adjusted. The 50-TM limit remained, and several older moves became TMsincluding some that lost their TM status between Generations I and II.

Due to connectivity with the Generation III games, the 50-TM list was not redone in Generation IV. To include new moves and incorporate older moves as TMs, the TM list was expanded from 50 to 92, leaving the first 50 TMs intact. With the eight HMs, the number of machine-learnable moves in Generation IV was at an even 100.

In Generation V, TMs have changed from being single-use items to having unlimited uses, making them akin to HMs. In this generation only, when a Pokmon learns a move from a TM or HM by overwriting an old one, the new move takes on the current PP of the forgotten move. This prevents repeated usage of machines for the purpose of PP restoration. The prices of the purchasable TMs are also much higher to reflect the fact they can be reused, and they can no longer be held or sold. (However, they can be sold in Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.) In Pokmon Black and White, there are 94 TMs available normally; among the ones numbered 92 and lower, many of them teach different moves from their Generation IV counterparts. With the number of HMs reduced to six, there are once again an even 100 machine-learnable moves. In Black2 and White2, the previously event-only TM95 was made normally available, bringing the number of machine-learnable moves in Generation V to 101.

In Pokmon X and Y and Pokmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, TMs continued to be multiple-use items. Pokmon Super Mystery Dungeon, however, has both types of TMs, where regular ones can only be used once, and rainbow colored ones have infinite use, and all HMs are TMs instead. Most TMs contained the same moves that they did in Generation V, with the exceptions of TM19, TM51, TM83, and TM88. Five more TMs were added, bringing the number of TMs up to an even 100. As there are only five HM moves in Generation VI, there are now 105 machine-learnable moves. In Pokmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, two more HMs were added. Additionally, TM94 (Rock Smash) in X and Y was changed to Secret Power to reflect the fact that Rock Smash was an HM once again. This is the only time a TM has changed in the middle of a generation. As a result, there are now 107 machine-learnable moves.

Although most Pokmon are able to learn a wide range of TM moves, there are 15 Pokmon who cannot learn any. Typically, these Pokmon are low in their evolutionary line or rely on a set moveset.

In Generation VI, several Pokmon that were capable of learning TM moves only by leveling up now are able to learn those moves through TM as well.

With few exceptions, all Pokmon who are compatible with TMs can learn the following moves:

In all seven Generations, there have been moves exclusively taught by TMs:

Several moves taught by TM in an earlier generation returned as TMs later on after being absent, but assigned with a different TM number.

In Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, most TMs that exist in the corresponding core series games of that generation also exist in the Mystery Dungeon games. After use, a TM becomes a Used TM; a Used TM can be turned back into a usable TM by a Pokmon with the move Recycle, except for a Used TM of Recycle, which will remain a Used TM permanently.

In Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, all TMs are infinite use.

In Pokmon Super Mystery Dungeon, regular TMs are one-use only and disapears after being used, while rainbow colored TMs can be used infinitely.

Although TMs have not appeared in the anime, they were mentioned once in the Japanese version of Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!. While talking with the Kecleon Brothers, Charmander of Team Go-Getters mentioned TMs among other things the Kecleon Shop was sold out on. This reference was not included in the dub.

TM34 (Bide) made an appearance in the Pokmon Origins episode File 1: Red. Much like in Pokmon Red and Blue, it was given to Red by Brock as a reward for defeating him in a Gym battle.

Another TM, TM28 (Dig), also made a brief appearance in File 2: Cubone, where Red retrieved it from a Team Rocket Grunt who had stolen it.

In To Evolve or Not to Evolve, That Is the Question!, Ash used TM31 to teach Mikey's Eevee Mimic, allowing it to win a battle against Sparky's Jolteon and thus let Mikey join the Knights of the E Stone.

In Wartortle Wars, a fake TM was seen amongst the many fake items sold to Red by Green.

In PAORAS10, it was explained that TMs are machines that contain the essence of the move they teach to a Pokmon. Before this technology existed, other items served the same purpose. Such items are the rings Ultima carries on her staff, which contain the special moves Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon, and a scroll held by the Draconids, which contains the move Dragon Ascent.

In the TCG, Technical Machines are types of Trainer cards. Unlike the games, they do not follow any specific numbering.

New Depression Treatment – Safe & Effective | Nashville TMS

Our goal is to reduce as much stress as we can prior to starting treatment. Weve helped individuals find out about all relevant policy coverage details. Then work to help everyone involved understand all applicable policy limitations, patient responsibilities and payment terms. Then we proceed to operate within the agreed terms.

Many times, our patients questions involve the Affordable Care Act, the health insurance marketplace, private policy insurance, coverages, Medicare and Medicaid. And when we are not at work, just out and about in conversation, we get these questions from friends and acquaintances.

Many people need answers in this new age of health care coverage. So we assembled these answers; presented by the experts at Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and MentalHealth.gov.

We offer the Q&As below to help people find these valuable and much needed resources. If this information assists even a few individuals to obtain coverage for mental health services, then we will be quite happy. Best wishes to you!

Because of the law, most health plans must now coverpreventive services, like depression screening for adults and behavioral assessments for children, at no additional cost. And, as of 2014, most plans cannot deny you coverage or charge you more due to pre-existing health conditions, including mental illnesses.

If you have questions about your insurance plan, we recommend you first look at your plans enrollment materials, or any other information you have on the plan, to see what the coverage levels are for all benefits. Because of the Affordable Care Act, health insurers are required to provide you with aneasy-to-understand summaryabout your benefits including mental health benefits, which should make it easier to see what your coverage is. More information also may be available with your stateConsumer Assistance Program (CAP).

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)covers inpatient mental health care services you get in a hospital. Part A covers your room, meals, nursing care, and other related services and supplies.

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance)helps cover mental health services that you would generally get outside of a hospital, including visits with a psychiatrist or other doctor, visits with a clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, and lab tests ordered by your doctor.

Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug )helps cover drugs you may need to treat a mental health condition. Each Part D plan has its own list of covered drugs, known as formulary. Learn more about whichplans cover various drugs.

If you get your Medicare benefits through a Medicare Advantage Plan (like an HMO or PPO) or other Medicare health plan, check your plans membership materials or call the plan for details about how to get your mental health benefits.

Tile Map Service – Wikipedia

Tile Map Service or TMS, is a specification for tiled web maps, developed by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation. The definition generally requires a URI structure which attempts to fulfill REST principles. The TMS protocol fills a gap between the very simple standard used by OpenStreetMap and the complexity of the Web Map Service standard, providing simple urls to tiles while also supporting alternate spatial referencing system.

TMS is most widely supported by web mapping clients and servers; although there is some desktop support, the Web Map Service protocol is more widespread for enterprise mapping applications. The OpenLayers JavaScript library supports TMS natively, while the Google Maps API allows URL templating, which makes support possible for developers. TileCache is one of the most popular supporting servers, while other servers like mod_tile and TileLite focus on the de facto OpenStreetMap standard.

TMS served as the basis for the OpenGIS Web Map Tile Service OGC standard. [1]
