Covalent bonds and ionic bonds are important because they determine the properties of many compounds. Hydrogen bonds play a role in the structure and function of DNA, as well as the ability for many proteins to bind with receptors. There #39;s a little bit in here about electronegativity and the redox reactions because these concepts are important for biochemistry, and I mention the Van der Waals effect because it #39;s just that cool.
