I #39;m quite short-sighted so it #39;s nice to be able to observe with glasses on. These Vixens have very long eye relief (around 20 mm), so using them with glasses on is very practical and you still get the full field of view. On the subject of which, the true field of view is a very generous 7.5 degrees. There is a certain amount of blur toward the field edges, but this isn #39;t severe and is only obvious when you look for it. Perhaps about the outer third or quarter is affected. The blur is more obvious during the day than at night under the stars. Remember that all but the most expensive wide-field binoculars will exhibit blur in the outer regions of the field. The view is bright, owing to the 5.3mm exit pupil diameter.The only negative thing I noticed is a small amount of false colour on bright targets. The false colour manifests itself in a weird way: bright objects look slightly blue tinged through one ocular and slightly pink in the other. When viewed binocularly, the result is a weirdly "unreal" feeling rather than a sensartion of false colour. It took me a while to realise that this unreality to the view originated in this chromatic aberration. It #39;s not a big deal, however, and I only mention it for completeness.
