In this first new show-down of the 2013-2014 schedule, we focus on Monday nights at 10.

CBS will air Hostages (TRAILER), a drama that stars Toni Collette as a surgeon who is taken hostage by Dylan McDermott's traitorous FBI agent and given an impossible choice on the eve of a major procedure.

NBC will counter with The Blacklist, in which James Spader plays a bad guy who works with the good guys to capture an even worse bad guy (TRAILER).
