IAU Christmas ID 2012 "Smile this Christmas"
As Indiana Aerospace University commemorates its 20-year long success, Airwatch (Official Media Bureau of IAU) spearheaded by the Airwatch Visual Arts team, proudly presents IAU #39;s first Christmas ID with the theme "Smile this Christmas". "Smile this Christmas" highlights the happiness and friendliness of the IAU family.Smiling through ups and downs keeps our family diversely united. It lifts our spirits up and keeps everything under our control even if it seems to be impossible.The power of smile is also highly contagious, proof to that is the saying that goes, "smile and the world will smile with you." The Bundles of Joy dated December 8, 2012 is an annual celebration of giving gifts to the less-fortunate families. The "Belen" is also present in this scene. It reminds us that Christmas is not only the day of giving but also the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The scenery of Ormoc with RP-C 2896 (IAU #39;s Cessna 150 aircraft) is real and was recorded August of 2012. Ormoc is the location of the IAU aerodrome which houses its four Cessna aircraft. It also serves as the base for flight training for BS Aviation Technology students. The parol, stars and the "smiling moon" are the ID #39;s centerpieces. They portray the spirit of Christmas as a felicitous season to everyone. The "smiling moon" is a real event which occurred last December 1, 2008 where Jupiter and Venus are above a waxing crescent moon.
