Cox & Kings opens a new outlet in Baramati Cox & Kings Ltd, the longest established travel company in the world since 1758, has opened a store in Baramati. This is the 17th Cox & Kings store in Maharashtra with other stores in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Latur, Nagpur, Akola, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Chandrapur, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri and Solapur. The store was inaugurated on Saturday, 21st December 2013 by Sunetra Ajit Pawar, wife of Ajit Pawar, Dy. Chief Minister, Maharashtra and will be headed by Vadindra Katti. The store will have the entire range of holidays offered by Cox & Kings Ltd., including domestic, outbound, foreign exchange, airline tickets, overseas insurance and trade fairs. The outlet is located at Cox & kings Ltd, Shop No 1, Tapkire Estate, Bhigwan Road, Near Old MIDC, MSEB Light Board, Baramati- 413102.
Cox and Kings travel deals will be made available to all travelers booking at this outlet. Holiday options include international destinations like Europe, USA, Far East, Australia, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Turkey, Dubai and Mauritius, among others, and domestic destinations extending across the country.

Govt of Uttarakhand promotes tourism in state Some of the top bureaucrats of Uttarakhand are participating in the car rally organized by the Uttarakhand government to showcase to the world that the state is again the adventure tourism destination for skiing, white-water rafting, wildlife photography, and now also motorsport. Dehradun Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate B. Purushottam is part of the strong field of 35 teams at the rally. Purushottam is participating in the rally with team-mate Madhukar Naik, IAS. Naik is the Private Secretary to Union Minister of Social Justice Balram Naik. The rally is being organized from December 21-24.
Purushottam said that the rally route covers some of the most beautiful routes in Uttarakhand. These include Shivpuri for white water rafting, the ski resort at Auli, and Garjiya on the periphery of the Jim Corbett Park. The rally will inspire confidence among tourists nationally and internationally that Uttarkhand is back on rails as a premier tourism destination, said Purushottam. Dehrandun Deputy Commissioner Customs and Central Excise Raghvendra Pal Singh is participating in the rally with Manish Aggarwal, IPS and Darpan Amrawanshi, an IRS officer. B.
