http://www.einstein.yu.edu - Martha Grayson, MD, explains the shift towards competency-based curriculum at medical schools -- including Albert Einstein College of Medicine -- which empasizes critical skills beyond medical and scientific knowledge. Core competencies identified at Einstein are physician as healer and scientist, but also include role model, educator and advocate.
