North Korea Succesfully Fires Missile Defying International Commuity
North Korea testing the international community after successfully launching a rocket. That #39;s a North Korean television anchor announcing the news, saying a rocket has carried a new satellite into orbit. The North American Aerospace Defense Command did confirm that the rocket deployed an object that achieved orbit but it is unclear what that object was. This launch is better than the one North Korea did in April which is making countries like South Korea and Japan nervous about a potential nuclear threat. The country is prohibited from creating nuclear and missile-related technology under UN resolutions, making this an act of defiance. Some reports indicate the supplies to build the rocket came from Iranian sources, something Iran denies. In any case, the international community will be looking closely at North Korea for any more activity.
