First official Teaser for The Documentary LAST OF THE FIRST It is a close-up story about the life and survival in the harshest of conditions, spirituality and loving respect for the environment, nature as well as people and animals, has prevented Kancha from taking the same route into death as many of his fellow mountaineers and porters. A story told from a personal perspective bringing inspiration and reflection to us all. The proceedings of the movie will be donated to preserve the Sherpa culture. The premiere is planned to be on the 60th Anniversary of the summit of Mount Everest 29th may 2013 at an event at Namche Bazaar on Everest. We are currently in the post production phase, meaning we have filmed the main portion of the movie and are now editing. In mid December 2012 we have a 3 man crew returning to Kathmandu to film the last footage we need. And to gather material for an Ebook as well. We believe our Movie and the story addresses interests that most can relate to and it inspires one to travel to Kathmandu and Everest to experience the nature, people and culture for oneself.
