RICHLAND, Wash. -- The Liberty Christian Patriots are back home to show off their 1B state trophy. Saturday Liberty Christian defeated Neah Bay on the last play of the game, winning 34-28. The Patriots steam-rolled through their conference play, winning by no less than 40 points per game, but in the semifinal and championship games they won by a total of eight points. The Patriots are still getting used to the title, state champs.

It was a lot of hard work and so it's a little bit of a relief at the same time, you know, knowing that you were able to accomplish your goal," head coach Mike Olson said.
