However the combination of unfair election laws, media bias/media blackout, uneducated voters, and fearful educated voters proved to be too much for alternative parties to overcome. Worse, it looks like neither the Green Party or the Libertarian party met their goal of getting 5% of the vote. The good news was that alternative media like RT News, Democracy Now, We Are Change, Info Wars, and Ben Swan #39;s Reality Check gave alternative parties unprecedented visibility. What #39;s more organizations like Free Equal, FairVote, and Ballot Access News helped educate voters of alternative party options. But was it too little too late? Now, where do we go from here?
