So Active Eco is designed to optimize the vehicles fuel economy. It #39;s most commonly used in city driving. A lot of folks will just leave the system on all the time and just drive with it, because like I said it maximizes your fuel economy. What it does is it adjusts your shifting points and your acceleration. So for example, lets say you are on the highway on a long road, you can put your crude control on and use this system with active eco and really maximize your fuel economy. What you do is just on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash theres a button that says Active Eco. You press down on it and you #39;re going to see on the instrument cluster a little light turn on, kind of in green letters that says "eco". Now when thats on,the systems on and thats gonna do a couple things. When you start to accelerate, for example it will reduce the engine power just a little bit and you might feel a slight delay.
