HARVEY World Travel The Ridge has been named Travel Agency of the Year for QLD at the Harvey World Travel National Symposium.

Harvey World Travel managing director David Rivers said the win reflected the shop's expertise and passion for travel.

"We are extremely proud of Bernie Freyling and his team on their outstanding performance," Mr Rivers said.

"Harvey World Travel consistently rates among the highest in the industry for 'knowledge and experience' and 'travel agency likely to call or visit' in Newspoll research.

Owner Bernie Freyling, who also runs Harvey World Travel agencies in Toowoomba and Indooroopilly, said the award is a great honour and the recognition rewarding.

"This is an enormous accolade to our success and really tells us that we are doing everything right - it's very encouraging and makes going the extra mile for our customers all worthwhile," Mr Freyling said.

"Office manager Leah Fuller and the team at Harvey World Travel The Ridge has been sending their customers on dream holidays for more than four years.

"The team pride themselves on being the travel professionals and they love what they do.
