The award will be presented on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 during a virtual fireside chat with Julianna Lemieux of Genetic Engineering News and the Rosalind Franklin Society.

James Watson and Francis Crick, working at Cambridge University, used Photograph 51 as the basis for their famous model of DNA, which earned them a Nobel Prize in 1962.
