Another outlier – this time New Jersey – moves into the toss-up category

Tea Party underdog Anna Little

Before her GOP primary win, back in early June, we wrote here at LR, "The emergence of the "Chris Christie Republican":

She has attended numerous Tea Party rallies. She's a strong Constitutionalist, and supports the Enumerated Powers Act. She's a staunch defender of the 2nd Amendment. Little has the endorsement of the Conservative Party of New Jersey.

Now, this latest news from NJ.com "Little gains ground on Pallone" Oct. 26:

TRENTON — A new poll shows that a Tea Party Republican candidate is continuing to close the gap with the Democratic incumbent in the race to represent New Jersey's 6th District in Congress.

The Monmouth University poll shows Democrat Frank Pallone getting 52 percent of the vote to Republican Anna Little's 47 percent among likely voters.

That 7-point margin in the poll conducted Oct. 22 to 25 is closer than just three weeks ago, when Pallone was up by 12.

Little is Mayor of Highlands Borough. The 6th CD includes Asbury Park and coastal Jersey bordering NYC.
