decided to get a new ceiling fan for living room. it turned out to be a bad idea in my 105 yo house. first the ceiling box was too small. so i went to the local diy store and was lead to a new box to place i thought on top or bottom if looking up of the old one. well it didn't work out and by the time i figured that out i had stripped the threads on the old box. GD as a result i had to re
