Def Leppard's fist-pumping guitar anthems have dimmed little with age, even as singer Joe Elliott's voice has caused him problems in recent years. Eddie Izzard's occasional film and TV roles pale in comparison to his one-man comedy shows, which place the British comedian in the same rarified air as Richard Pryor and George Carlin (yes, he's that good). Izzard's rare, 25-city U.S. "Force Majeure" tour is being generous with its Western dates, including May 26-27 shows at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 20.
