Memory Clinic Testing
Dr. Dewayne Nash spent most of his life taking care of others as a family physician in Central Texas. About two years ago, he started noticing that his memory wasn #39;t what it used to be, so he decided to get checked out at UT Southwestern #39;s Memory Clinic. Testing showed that he was in the early stages of mild cognitive impairment---with his strong family history of Alzheimer #39;s, Dr. Nash decided on the spot to retire. Now he is spending his time as a clinical trial volunteer at UT Southwestern and sharing his journey with others through his blog. UT Southwestern #39;s Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics created this video to help Dr. Nash tell his story and encourage others to take part in clinical trials.
